This was mostly a positioning day as we had an outage at the datacenter and I didn’t get home until 9pm. I did a quick forecast and realized I needed to be near Sioux City, IA for the next day and decided to stay in Salina.
As I was driving towards Salina, I drove to the storm in Ponca City, OK right to the east of I-35. There was some pretty extreme winds and reports of a tornado. Nice warm up storm for the next day.
