A low expectation day along the outflow boundary from the previous nights MCS which stretched across Oklahoma as far south as the OKC metro. During the day, the boundary slowly retreated, firing some storms which fizzled. One persisted near Woodward.
Departing Norman
After arriving in late from the night before in Northwest Kansas, I opted to sleep in and not try and make the Illinois target. It looked messy anyway, but I was wrong.
