Date: May 20, 2019
Location: Mangum, OK
Description:
Monday May 20, 2019 was a high risk day in Oklahoma. There was a high likelihood of a large tornado outbreak across Texas and Oklahoma. Many believe the High Risk outlook issued by the SPC busted. The only storm to produce was the storm in Southwest Oklahoma. This is video from that storm near the town of Mangum, OK. The Mangum, Oklahoma Tornado barely missed hitting the town of Mangum and swiped the north and northwest side. We chased further east most of the day and were able to snipe this storm just as it produced a tornado. The National Weather Service rated the Mangum, Oklahoma Tornado EF-2.
